Food will have a special focus at the festival with top producers of regional foods and suppliers of fine wines on hand to cater for all tastes and ages. Everything from champagne and oyster bars to traditional hog roasts, organic barbeques and local beers will be available on site.
High Tea
At 4 pm every day the scene changes as high tea accompanied by string quartets becomes the focus of the festival, while SERENATA KIDS enjoy the Mad Hatters tea party.
The evenings at SERENATA are special and take on a magic all of their own. With a full symphony orchestra and leading soloist musicians performing some of the great concertos, the night begins with starlit performances. After an opera dinner we resume with world-renowned classical artists providing a broad repertoire of stunning pieces for all to enjoy.
After the evening performance the second stage comes alive with classical cabaret from some of the finest performers in the UK today. A special announcement about the third stage, located in the Bedouin lounge, will be made soon.
Alex Boon and his team from the renowned gastro pub, the King John Inn in Tollard Royal, Wiltshire have joined forces with Charlie Turnbull and his team from Turnbulls in Shaftesbury, Dorset to create two specialist-dining areas for Serenata.
The King John will provide a fine dining experience for lunch and dinner; tables can be booked in advance by contacting the King John at www.kingjohninn.co.uk.
Turnbulls is the finest delicatessen and cafe bistro in north Dorset. Charlie and Jilly will be creating delicious breakfasts, lunches and dinners as well as the all important Serenata high tea accompanied by a string quartet. There will also be three bars, a beer tent, a champagne and oyster bar on site. In addition, Chateau de Sour will be providing their world-renowned rose wine in 50cl bottles, so be sure to grab a hamper and sample what has been described as one of the best rosè wines in the world.
Kimmeridge-based Clavell's is providing a cafè in the children's entertainment area as well as a Farm Shop on the camping site. In addition there will be a variety of traders supplying a great range of locally-sourced food and drink, including organic hog roasts, barbecues, picnics, sandwiches and fish and chips. Serenata is also delighted to be working with Emma and Rae, founders of the Anonymous Travelling Market, who are creating an on-site bazaar made up of local traders.
