CAMPING

Camping at SERENATA

Make the most of the SERENATA FESTIVAL and camp in one of our fabulous campsites overlooking Kimmeridge Bay and the Jurassic Coast. You will find yourself in Britain’s only World Heritage Site, and will be able to enjoy all the benefits of camping in one of the most beautiful and unique areas in the country.

Traditional Camping

Camping in the Serenata traditional campsite is free for anyone who has purchased a ticket for the Serenata festival. With wonderful views and excellent facilities, including its own farm shop, you will be just a short stroll away from the Festival Field where all the activity takes place.

Arrivals and Departures

Three day ticket holders can arrive at the campsite on Wednesday 25th August anytime after 2pm and stay until 2pm on Sunday 29th August.

One day ticket holders can arrive at anytime from 8.30am onwards, on the ticket date, and depart by 11am the following morning.

When you arrive you will be directed to a designated area in the car park and our student volunteers will meet you and assist you to your camping space.

Please don't turn up the night before your ticket is valid as we won't be able to let you onto the site.

The site is not suitable for caravans or motor homes, but there are many excellent caravan sites close to the Festival, more details can be found at www.city-visitor.com/kimmeridge/campsites.html.

Facilities

We are passionate about clean showers and loos! And we have brought in “Andysloos” to provide award winning toilets and free hot showers. The facilities will be permanently staffed and cleaned between the hours of 6am to 12pm each day throughout the festival. Ample water points are available, and there is also an onsite cafè and supply shop in the festival campsite.

Barbecues and Fires

At the top end of the campsite there is a special area with a camp fire where you can have a barbecue and enjoy a stunning view over the festival Field and the Jurassic Coast. Off ground barbecues and camping cookers are allowed by your tent, but campfires are not allowed anywhere else in the campsite for safety reasons.

Water

There are plenty of drinking water points throughout the campsite and festival field.

Security of Cars, Tents and Property

Our trained stewarding team and professional security company will keep a watchful eye on the camping fields, car parking field and festival site 24-hours a day, however we cannot accept responsibility for any losses that may occur. We recommend that you don’t leave any valuables in your tent, keep them on you at all times or book one of our lockable units on the festival site.

Above all, we want your camping experience to be a happy and memorable one.

Special Needs Parking & Camping Area

The special needs campsite is close to the festival entrance, and is equipped with adapted toilets (also available within the festival site) and is available to those who book a place in advance. Camping and parking places are limited, so to let us know about your needs, check on facilities and request a space, please contact us on 01747 812109 or contact us at hello@serenatafestival.com.
